I wonder how he felt. . . .

Hey readers! Sorry about last night, and the fact of no post! I was just busy reading, so it isn't like I was doing nothing Harry Potter last night. It is just I am so addicted to reading Order of the Phoenix, so I thought I would just do a couple today! Sorry, though because I did say I was going to do a Blog Post, but I never ended up doing one. I will be doing a couple today hopefully, but I just do not know for 100% sure. I have been down in page views in these past day, but I am thanking all of you who have remained loyal to Potter's Army! Thanks for continuing to read Potter's Army Blog Post's, and being loyal to the blog! :D Well, lets get to this Blog Post shall we?

Remus Lupin, one of the creators of the Marauder's Map. His nickname is, Moony, as his friends would have called him when they were all younger. What really do I want to talk about with him? Well I don't really want to talk about him directly (well not yet anyway). I want to talk about the fact that he lost all of his friends, but yet he was still alive (for a little while). Know what I mean though? I mean, I wonder how he felt about all of this. His friend, James Potter, had died, then they found out Peter Pettigrew was in fact on Voldemort's side, and then Sirius Black had died at the end of Order of the Phoenix. I wonder how he felt about all of this. Like he was the last one of his friends to yet be alive fighting against Lord Voldemort. Well, I wonder if he was at any point like going insane because he was the last one of his friends that was alive! Did he ever say anything in the Harry Potter books that might have lead us to think this? The only thing I could really think is that he, Lupin (like Sirius), thought Harry to be James, and wanted to go with him in Deathly Hallows. I know he also wanted to get away from Tonks because he felt guilty for marring her because he felt like he embarrassed or disgraced her. You get what I am trying to say? Read a Potter Book

Hey readers, thanks for all the views last night! Sorry about not getting another Blog Post out there for all of you last night. I was just way to tired to do another one, so I thought I would do one this morning since it has actually been awhile since I have done a post this early in the morning. Before I get to this Blog Post though I wanted to remind you that Potter's Army is having a contest to win a unique Harry Potter Picture (on tag board but a picture none the less). Well hm, it has been actually a long time since I have read a Harry Potter book, what about you? Has it been awhile? I think for me it has been about maybe a little less than a year if not more than a year! :( I know sad right? On Thursday though, when I did that No electronic thing, I was thinking of a way to relax and just escape everything that has been going on in my life. Well, I came to the conclusion that reading Harry Potter would do that! That it could take me places that not even my wildest dreams could take me. It can take me into the mind of a completely different world, a completely different person's world. I remember why I loved the Potter series so much, was because it did that to me when a time in my life I didn't see what life was worth living for. Harry Potter saved me, and that is why I love the series so much. It took me to a place where I could never imagine in my own head. Joanne Rowling brought me to the wizarding world of Harry Potter. I thank her greatly for it. I remembered all of that on Thursday, so I decide to walk in my room after work on Thursday and the first Harry Potter book I saw, that would be the book I was going to read that night. It was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (OOTP). So at 6:45 that night, I opened the book, and began to read my second favorite Harry Potter book, which I hadn't read in over a year. I was completely blown out of my chair again by beginning to read it (I haven't gotten very far). So I thought, I should do a Blog Post on this for Potter's Army. Now what I am saying is, to all Harry Potter fans out there, if it had been awhile since you have read any of the Harry Potter book (over 3-5 months), I am telling you now to read a Potter Book! I am about only 72 pages in (I fell asleep at 7:00 that night) Order of the Phoenix, but once I am done I am going to just skip around the series and read them all again. I have realized how much I really do love these books, and how much I really miss reading them. If your friends at school or your parents (like mine) say, "your reading them again?" Just ignore them. They are the books, we Harry Potter fans, love dearly and will always love. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING could stop me from reading these books. I love them so much, they saved me. So Read a Potter Book every fan of Harry Potter book, you know what, I said earlier if it has been awhile read a Potter Book? Well, even if you just re-read the series last night (well finished the re-read) go and pick them up again, because they are just that good aren't they? I need an escape again now, so what you think I am going to go do? Read. . . . read. . . . . and read to escape this world. If you follow me on twitter you'll know what that is all about. So, remember though to pick up a Harry Potter book and read it, but especially if you need to escape the world you are in and jump into a new world.

Michael or Richard as Professor Dumbledore?

Hey readers! Thanks for all the views since last night, I hope you have been enjoy Potter's Army! So here is another one of those blog posts where I am going to talk about an actors performance as their character, and what I think about them playing that part. Before I get to today's first blog post, I thought I would make it more announced about the fact that their is a actual Prize-Winning Contest out their for all of you readers of Potter's Army. A little better description about it is that it is the Harry Potter initials painted by my sister on tag board in black and gray with a white background. The winner will be chosen randomly out of a hat actually, so it is completely random! I will then need your address later on to be able to send it to you, but I will only require that if you win! I think I will be doing some more of these later on if you all would like it, and with bigger prizes! Now, shall we get to this Blog Post finally?

Well Micheal Gambon and Richard Harris play the part of Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films. My favorite character he plays, but now what do I think about them playing the part of my favorite character in the films? Hm, well honestly I have grown to really love Micheal being the part of Dumbledore, but at first I hated him and loved Richard. Richard was the perfect Dumbledore. Older looking, kind-look upon his face always, and when he looks disappointed with someone you would just have his yell straight in your face instead of have that look on his face. You know what I mean by saying that? Micheal, though, has just begun to grow on my with his performance in OOTP and HBP! He did just a phenomenal job, I also think that Richard looked to old to be doing all the work Micheal had to do for those parts. Now, WAIT, just a minute! Ha, STOP! Before I get to far into talking about who I like better, I had better explain why (even though most of us probably already know what happened) Micheal replaced Richard as the greatest Headmaster Hogwarts has ever seen. Well we all know that Richard played Professor Dumbledore for the first two films of the Harry Potter franchise, Chamber of Secrets and Sorcerer's Stone. Well after filming Chamber of Secrets (COS), he had developed a serious disease, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and two weeks before the premiere of COS he had died in his bed. Richard was supposed to be replaced by and old friend of Richard's, Peter O'Toole, but was taken over of course by the man we all know to be Micheal Gambon. A couple of days before Richard had died, Producer, David Heyman, had approached Richard on his death bed. Richard had said not to replace him (don't cast anyone else), that he will be coming back, that he will make it out of this disease. About (I think) a week later Richard had died. Micheal Gambon had take over the spot for Dumbledore, and he brought a whole new meaning to the character! He is witty, and just ingenious with the character! He made it his own character, but at the same time Micheal was just being himself! Now, I have always liked Richard as the true Dumbledore as the first Dumbledore. Micheal though has grown on me like I had said earlier. I don't think that Richard could have done the battle scene with Voldemort in Order of the Phoenix. I also don't think he could have done the Cave scene in Half-Blood Prince! He just seemed a tad bit old for those scenes! Micheal, though, did an amazing job with those scenes and becoming Dumbledore. Now who do I like better for Dumbledore? Well hm, I gonna have to say a combination of the two. I could see Richard playing the part Micheal is going to have to play in Deathly Hallows Part Two, but I do not see him playing the part of an action Dumbledore! Richard is the kind/calm Dumbledore, but Micheal is the action Dumbledore. BUT Micheal can play the kind/calm Dumbledore too that Richard does a good job with. Okay so my final decision would have to be Micheal Gambon. I really like him as Professor Dumbledore in fact. Do not get me wrong though, I LOVE RICHARD HARRIS! It is just Micheal can do all that the part of Dumbledore needs to do! What do you think though? Who do you like better: Richard Harris or Micheal Gambon? Harry Potter eBooks?

Well hey readers! I am hoping that you have been enjoying Potter's Army! Here is a Blog Post for all of you for tonight! This is going to be the only other one I am going to do for the night by the way! Just getting tired, and I have lots of other things yet to do! So, I am hoping you all enjoy this post, and as you might have already known from my twitter account but this post I am about to do is based loosely on another post I have done way in the past! So, I am hoping that you all will enjoy this post!

Well as you can probably tell from a lot of previous posts that I do in fact own a iPad! Yes, I LOVE IT!!!! I use it to read a lot a lot of books (but I use Laptop here for the blog)! I use my iPad to read a lot. Now as I said in this previous post about this same topic, I was hoping that when I bought iPad that I could read and carry all the Harry Potter books around with me, everywhere I bring my iPad, but NOPE! J.K. Rowling, the amazing creator of the Harry Potter Book Series, does not want the books to go eBook quite yet. Maybe never in fact! Well in my mind I think she would because it would be truly amazing to be able to carry all the books, music, and Harry Potter movies around with me everywhere on one simple amazing device! I can of course buy the audio book instead of the actual book, but it would be cool to read along with the book, would it now? The other cool thing would be in fact that you know if you need to search about something Harry Potter you could just access it all on the one device. They should actually make that device! One single device that has all the Harry Potter things like: Images, Audio Books, eBooks of each book, Movies, all of the movie soundtracks, and all of the mobile games that the Harry Potter games have had to offer. Doesn't that sound like a cool idea for a Harry Potter product??? Hmmmm. . . . . . I actually really like that! It is the perfect gift for any Harry Potter fan don't you agree? It would be really amazing, I would have all the Harry Potter books with me everywhere I go! Don't you think that would be amazing? Yes, not everyone loves to have eBook format. Not everyone like eReading. People like reading the actual book. I do too, in fact the latest books I have been reading have been actual books (buying "The Autobiography of Mark Twain tonight) , unlike reading on my iPad, but it would be nice to have the books around with me everywhere. Like if you went on a long trip and wanted to bring them all along to read, you wouldn't have to pack all of the books and waste a whole bag on them all! You could put them all on the amazing thin device! Like an iPad or a Kindle? What do you use to eRead if you do? Email me please and let me know? So, yeah what do you think if the Harry Potter Books go eBook, would you buy them all again? I know I would.

Did anyone even know?

Hey readers! Thanks for all the views from my last posts! Been getting a lot, and it just makes me happy to see that people are viewing my posts! Thank you, so I thought I should do one tonight for all of you before tomorrow. Thought you might like this one. I had a stroke of genius with tonight's Blog Post! I am really hoping that you will all enjoy it, but before I get to tonight's post I thought I should let you all know what is going on tomorrow and when to expect a Blog Post! Well I have Forensics (also known as 4N6) tomorrow, and I will be at a college performing with my group. So, I am of course going to bring my laptop, and in between performances I thought I would work on a post for all of you! It might take awhile, but I am guessing I can finish one sometime tomorrow while doing our performances. Otherwise I will of course blog tomorrow night, I will even blog tomorrow night either way. Just thought I would let you know about whats going on tomorrow, you might not care as long as you get a blog post, but I just thought I should let you know. If you feel like I have wasted your time in just reading all of that, well to bad and I am sorry. ;) So, now lets get to this Blog Post tonight shall we?

So have any idea what I am going to talk about in this Post? Kind of a mystery isn't it? Hmm. . . . well what can we tell from the above image about what it could possibly be about? Well we know it is something about Ronald. We also know that it is from the 3rd film, yes the film! Hmmm. . . . what is it going to be about? Well I'll just tell you I guess shall I? See the little mouse Ron is holding in his hand in the image above? Yes, I am talking about Scabbers! That is tonight's topic! Now what about him? Well what is the title of this Blog Post? Did anyone even know, hm well what does that mean right? Well I am wondering if anyone even could have guessed from just reading the first two books in the series, Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, that Ron's Rat, Scabber's, was in fact Peter Pettigrew. Peter Pettigrew who turned over James and Lily Potter's location to Lord Voldemort! Did anyone even have a hunch that the rat was actually a person. Well I cannot really say what I though by reading the books, because I saw some of the Harry Potter films and then became a fan! I wish I was an actually from the beginning fan, but I cannot say I am! I was a late Harry Potter fan! A Harry Potter fan though none the less. Now all I can say is about knowing about this topic from the films. I would like you thought, if you were a Harry Potter fan from the very beginning to email me please at noahmarkbitney@gmail.com and please tell me if you were completely shocked when you realized Scabbers was in fact a Human. Now all I can speak about is my experience from being a fan of the movies from the beginning. I never started reading the books until like 2005 which is upsetting I know, but I am saving this conversation for another post later! So, did I know that Scabbers was a human? Did I notice any clues that could have jumped out in the first two films? NOPE TO BOTH OF THOSE QUESTIONS. I had no clue, I didn't notice anything that could have made someone guess that the rat was in fact a human being. It just shocked the heck out of me when I found out about that. I think that though is one of the many reasons why everyone (well almost everyone) loves the series because there are twists in the story that you could have never guessed would have happened. Like something that happens in Order of the Phoenix that we all hate, but once again saving it for another Blog Post. So, yeah then when I went back to the books and read them in order, I do not think that there is any clues that could have let anyone guess that Scabbers was a human. So, I believe no one, but the great Joanne Rowling knew about the true identity of Scabbers.

Potter's Army Redesigned

Well hey readers!!! As I said I was going to at least but a Blog Post out about the new features today on February 1st of 2011. Every month I want to try and create a new theme for Potter's Army with some significant thing to do with the Harry Potter world. This month's I choose to do the books of Harry Potter. Well why didn't I choose the Blog Picture for this particular blog post to be a book cover or something? Well it has something to do with the new theme, a certain feature in this theme. I will get to that later though. So, you all know what this blog post is going to be about, it is going to be about the new theme of course. I will of course go back to my regular random Harry Potter thing's posts tomorrow. So lets get to it! :D

Well the first new feature I want to talk about is the flashback section. It is labeled as, A look back at Harry Potter book history. This feature is pretty self-explanatory. It will be updated daily now that I have my laptop at a fully mobile capability. It just is a daily basic flashback about anything that has happened in the past about the books. I am really hoping you will all like this. The next thing I want to talk about isn't really a new feature it's just changing a little bit for this month. The Quote of the Day section is normally a mix between Book and Harry Potter movie quotes. For just this month it is just going to be book quotes, since the main theme of Potter's Army this month is the books. Now another completely new feature that I have added is called the Chapter Image of the Day. It is a random Chapter Image (USA version) from the Harry Potter books, that will be updated daily, it is the Chapter Image of the Day! One special thing about this particular thing is that if you click on the image it takes you to another page on Potter's Army that is only assessable through this image, and on this page it shows you all (almost) of the images from that particular book that the Chapter Image of the Day is in. So, make sure you check that out. Now a really anticipated feature that has been added to the blog is the Potter's Army Facebook Page! I have had a lot of people asking if there was a page to 'Like' on Facebook for the blog, and I never had made one because I was running off of my iPad. Now, I have a laptop and there is a 'Like' Page on Facebook, the link for the Facebook Page is on the Potter's Army entertainment sidebars. So make sure you 'like' Potter's Army on Facebook. Another thing on the Facebook subject, there is a share bar for you to share Potter's Army to your Twitter Page or Facebook Page. Now another new little thing added is the Part One DVD countdown. I know not for the books, but that was just added today since the release date for Part One on DVD date was actually released today. Thought you might like that?

ANNNNNDDDD NOOWWW FOR THE LAST NEW FEATURE ON POTTER'S ARMY!!! As you might have noticed that the links on Potter's Army are green, and then whenever you 'hover' your cursor (laptops, and desktops only) over the link it turns blue. WHY IS THAT? IS THERE A REASONING BEHIND IT??? YES THERE IS!!!!! The green is for Harry's eyes in the book. He has green eyes, Jo has made that specifically clear in the books. BUT in the movie's, Danielle Radcliff has blue eyes (which is why I chose the image I chose). So, I made the links green and blue just to show the significance of Harry's eyes! Not really cool I know, but I thought it a neat feature to add.

Going back in time

Hey readers, before we get to today's blog post I wanted to say a few couples thing about the blog like I usually do. Well, I would like to say thanks for all the page views in these past day's as I continue to blog! That was over the weekend though, and now we have reached the week and yet no new battery for my computer! I will not be able to update things to the blog until at night every night (if I can). So, please be patient with me, I will get posts out during the week and update features in the blog, just not until at night. Once I get my battery I can take my laptop to school, and fix up the blog during some of my classes. I use my iPad, now just as a media thing and to check my stats for the blog! I will use it sometime to do a blog post, but I prefer to use my laptop here. So, well thanks for reading all of that, now lets get to the really important thing, THE BLOG POST.

Well, well, well we all know what the above image is from do we not? The third Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Well what about this image is so important? Well for tonight's blog post I have decided to do a post on the magical object that was introduced in this book/film, and at this exact part we find out about it (well a little bit after this scene). I think you all know what I am talking about, The Time Turner. Hermione used it to get to all of her classes all year long in their third year at Hogwarts. She took extra classes in her third year, so she need to use the time-turner to turn back time to go back to some of those classes. We all know this from reading the book, but now what I wanna talk about tonight in this blog post is, what if you had a time turner? What would you do with the power to turn back time? Would you change anything in your life that happened? Would you go back in time to go back and change a certain event in history (like 9/11)? What about going to meet someone you've always wanted to see that is now dead? Well I am going to answer some of those questions for me. I want you though to answer them please? So the first question I asked is: What would you do if you had the power to turn back time, would I change anything in my life that happened? Hmmm. . . I do not think I would do that. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Everything that has happened to me to this day has a certain purpose for happening. An example is that if I never became friends with my friend I would have never met the girl of my dreams. Yes that is a positive thing that happened. A negative thing that happened to me that turned into a positive is that, if I never lost the friend I did, I would still be friend with that jerk today and making my life feel miserable. See everything happens for a reason in my eyes. I do not know about you, but that is how I feel. So yeah I would not go back in time to change anything that happened to me if I had a Time Turner.

Second question I asked was, would you go back in time to change a certain event in history (like 9/11)? Hmmmmm I think this kind of entails with my other answer to the other question. Everything happens for a reason, even though 9/11/01 was a horrific day, it happened for a reason, there was a reasoning for that happening. I think it helped us (American's) realize that we need to fight these terrorists. Thousands of people died, but I still believe everything happens for a reason. So, no I would not go back in time to change a event in history if I had a Time Turner.

Now for the last question, If you had a time turner would you go back in time to go see a certain person that has died? (If so who?) Hmmmmm. . . . . Yes, yes I would. Who would I like to meet? Well not Jo, because she is still alive! :D I think I would want to meet either, Abraham Lincoln or John F. Kennedy. Why? Not really sure. I just thought them as one of our (American's) greatest presidents ever.

Okay okay so there are my answer's to the Time Turner questions. Now I completely forgot that Time Turner's can't take you extremely far back in time! OOOPPPSS :0 Ha, well I would still love to hear your answer's to the questions if you'd like to please because all of you who read this are apart of the blog! Goosebumps Scene: POA Dementor Scene

Well hey readers. I know that this is a late blog post, but I got busy working on the one feature for Potter's Army that people wanted the most. I was asked frequently when was Potter's Army going to be on Facebook. Well I didn't want to start a fan page for Potter's Army on Facebook until I had a computer! Which I know have. So I decided to begin that tonight, so if you have a Facebook Profile, make sure you 'Like' Potter's Army on Facebook now! That is one of the new main features of Potter's Army! :D Along with sharing the Potter's Army blog around your social networking sites, Twitter and Facebook! An easy way to spread the word about the blog around the worldwide web. So please help me in spreading the word about Potter's Army out there. Two more thing's I want to mention quick before I get to the Blog Post is that I have gotten my first real comment in the comments box below each blog! Thank you to you out there who commented! I also got an email with someones picture (above) and a description on why they like this image. This email got my brain working for tonight's post though too. So thank you to you out there if you are reading this. It is called Goosebumps Scene (as you can see in the title), and it means that I am going to talk about scenes in the books or movies of Harry Potter that give us goosebumps when we read or watch them. So now,I got an email tonight as I was working on Potter's Army's Facebook Page. The email was from one of the readers here at Potter's Army. I was all excited because I love getting email's, and feedback from you my readers. Well this person had sent me an image (the above image,) and why she liked this particular image (this person's favorite image). This person had said, "I really love Harry Potter whenever he is casting his patronus (he's cute with his patronus). For me, it is one of the most awaited part in every movie." I want to agree with this particular person with the fact that, "I really love Harry Potter whenever he is casting his patronus." I really do love those scenes in the book and the movie of course. Why do I love these scenes? Well they just give me goosebumps. Like in the above image, in the movie, I love when Daniel yells,"EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!!" It is just a big scene in the movie. It gives me a whole bunch of goosebumps every time I watch that part in the movie. Then, in the Order of the Phoenix movie I get goosebumps at the beginning when Harry is trying to fight of the Dementors him and Dudley. In Deathly Hallows Part One, well it isn't even fair to say that just that part gave me the chills. The entire movie gave me chills, and still does even though I have seen it six times. Ha, so I can't really even say that part gives me the goosebumps because I have them throughout that entire movie. There is a scene in Order of the Phoenix though that I forgot with the patronuses in them. Dumbledore's Army scene, when Harry is teaching the class how to do patronuses. That scene is also a very good scene too. It gave me goosebumps I think when I first saw it (or maybe a couple times after seeing i, but not anymore). That scene does have a strong feel to it still though. It makes you feel very happy, but then of course Umbridge has to go and ruin everything like usual. Well then, the music they add too these scenes in the movie just, if that music wasn't in there I don't think the scene would have the same chilling affect that it does now. Do you agree though? The Truth about Harry's Godfather

Well hey readers! Thanks for all the page views last night. Went to bed with 10 views after Blogging last night, and I check it this morning in Accounting Class in school and I have 30 page views! Thank for continuing your loyalty to Potter's Army. Now staying true to my word, "trying to blog as much as possible," here I am blogging again today for all of you readers. Like usual now though I am going to talk a little bit about the blog before I actually get into what this post is going to be about. Well as you all know January is coming to an end, so that means Potter's Army is up for a new look! I, today, have been working on a new look for Potter's Army for the month of February. There is going to be a lot more entertainment things added to the entertainment section on the right-hand side of the blog! So, that should be up sometime next week, or over this weekend since February starts next week. Well that is all I really had to talk about for the blog, so now lets get to the actual blog post.

In 'Sorcerer's Stone' we got a glimpse of his name mention in the very first chapter, but he wasn't fully introduced until the third book, 'Prisoner of Azkaban.' I am guessing you know who I am talking about because of the Title and Blog Image of this blog. Yes, I am talking about Harry's Godfather, Sirius Black. Well what is there to talk about him. Well I have chosen to talk about the truth of his story. About how he was framed for something that he actually hadn't done. About how he thinks it is all his fault, when actually it isn't one bit his fault! Well what was he framed for? We as Harry Potter fans all know that he was framed for the murder of Lily and James Potter. Not really the actual murder, but he had released the information to Lord Voldemort where they were in hiding. He also was framed for killing a street full of muggles with one curse. We all know that this is a false statement, and there is no truth to any of those things that they say he did. Peter Pettigrew (sp?) was the actual person who did it. The Ministry of Magic of course does not realize this until that fateful day when the unexpected happens. :( Well why does he think it is his fault, when really he should feel no guilt what-so-ever? Well he believes that if he hadn't switched out of not being Lily and James Potter's Secret-Keeper (which Peter took over for when Sirius decided to switch out of it) Peter could not have actually told Voldemort, and Lily and James Potter could still be alive. I don't think he should be or feel guilty at all because it really is not he fault. How was he supposed to know that there long-time friend was actually a supporter and spy for the evil wizard that they were all trying to destroy, Lord Voldemort? Exactly, and the next thing is that really even Lilly and James thought Peter was a good guy. Sirius is putting to much on himself though I think because he misses his best friend, James. Growing Up with Dan, Rupert, and Emma

Well hello readers! ;) 
As you can see in today's post I am going to talk about how we have literally grown  with the actors of the Harry Potter trio, Dan, Rupert, and Emma of course. I think this is the first time I have done a post about them, and not there character! Before I get to the Blog Post for today, I would just like to mention why I couldn't blog yesterday for you my readers. Well my iPad is basically all I can say! I use my iPad to change the Quote of the Day section on the blog, and to put a new poll up when the current one expires! Which I just think happened with the current one now! Anyways I also use my iPad to do Blog Post everyday and to Tweet! Everything else, the design of the blog, is done on a computer I can get to because I need Adobe Flash. So, now what does this have to do with not blogging yesterday? Well I screen locked my iPad yesterday in school, and then it didn't turn back on when I went to it! So yeah that's basically what happened, but it is fixed now, and I am going to do two blog post's today for you my readers since you didn't get one today. Now let's get to today's first post!!!

Well Dan, Rupert, and Emma (last names, Radcliff, Grint, and Watson) became the Harry Potter trio from the very beginning of the film franchise of Harry Potter. Dan, of course as Harry Potter. Rupert, as we all know is Ronald Weasley. Then we all know Emma plays the part as Hermione Granger. All three of them have done a great part in playing their part in the Harry Potter movies. At first I have to admit, I didn't see Dan as Harry, but he has grow and grow on me and now I can see no other person playing Harry but Dan. What I really want to talk about them is the fact is that we have actually grown with Dan, Rupert, and Emma. What I mean in saying this is that their childhood is Harry Potter. They no other childhood than playing their parts in Harry Potter, and being on stage (and in acting) for their entire childhood. All there childhood consisted of was basically acting the parts they played, being and becoming a family with everyone who made the film possible, and being famous. We have grown with them. Each movie they got a little older. We went through their childhood with them, as they got older and older with each movie. We've come to see them become the great and amazing actors, and actresses that they are today! We have yet to see their final performance of them being the Harry Potter Trio. Part Two as we all know is coming out in theaters on July 15th, 2011. As soon as this hits theaters, it will probably be the last time we are going to see Dan, Rupert, and Emma together again on the big screen. Even a movie in general. They grew up with us over the big screen. What must have been hard for them was to leave it all now. They are officially done and complete with filming for the Harry Potter Film Franchise. It is almost over. All they have left is to do is publicity for Part Two since Part One is complete. If I was them, knowing they are too though, I would be extremely sad about all of this. I know for sure Dan was though, because he hosted a TV awards thing (not 100% sure what) but on there he was and looked very upset all night because that was the night/day they had completely finish filming (excluding the short scene they had to do in December). Dan, Rupert, and Emma grew up on the big screen with all of us fans that enjoyed every performance that they did. 

Well I hope you enjoyed the first blog post that I am doing for today! Remember I am going to be doing another one later tonight while i"m watching Goblet of Fire Ultimate Edition that arrived TODAY!!!!! I was expecting this particular post to be on sooner, but I was too busy doing other stuff for school and forensics! I got the chance though to finish this in study hall now! Jim Broadbent is Horace Slughorn

Well Happy New Years Eve, and in some people's case HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2010 is almost (and is) done and gone! Lots of Harry Potter things have happened in these past months of 2010! First theme park for Harry Potter has opened up, Deathly Hallows Part One was released, Filming is over, and Warner Brothers bought the studio where the Harry Potter films were made!!! That is not what I am here to talk about today for though! That will be tomorrow. Today I am here to talk about Jim Broadbent, and not 2010 being over. I will indeed though talk all about the key major Harry Potter events that happened in 2010 tomorrow, since tomorrow will be 2011 in my country! So now lets get to today's blog post.

Jim Broadbent is a actor in many films, but why he is here on Potter's Army is because in the Harry Potter films he plays Horace Slughorn! Horace Slughorn appears in the Harry Potter world in the 6th book, the Half-Blood Prince! We learn he is a retired Hogwarts Professor, and is hiding in Muggle homes on the run from Death Eaters. Professor Dumbledore recruits him back into teaching to take a memory from him that Dumbledore and Harry need to discover the truth about Horcruxes! We also know that he is the Potions Master at Hogwarts School, NOT the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Now Jim Broadbent is brought into the films of course in the 6th movie, that was released on July 15th, 2009! When I first discovered he was going to be the actor that would play Professor Slughorn, I was a little concerned he wasn't going to fit the part because he didn't fit the description Jo had described him in the book. I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! Jim does an amazing amazing job playing Professor Slughorn! He just fits the part. He was funny, dimwitted at times, and he is a really really good actor! I really liked the Aragog scene with Hagrid and Harry! I really liked it though when it was just him and Harry talking about Harry's mom, and then transforms into the Horcruxes. That scene in the movie was just really emotional I thought. I loved the little added story they put in there about the flower pedal and the fish bowl. It just added an emotional grab to Horace's and Lilly's relationship! It was a really good scene! Another thing I really liked about Jim's performance in the Harry Potter film is that he made is character likable! When reading the book, I didn't know weather to like him or hate him, but after seeing the movie I have based my thoughts and I like his character if you get what I am trying to say. ;) Ha, so what do you think about Jim Broadbent's performance as Horace? What were your favorite parts with him in Half-Blood Prince? Also do you like the character Horace Slughorn or not (if you know what I mean)?

What is it about Harry Potter posters???

Well as I said I was going to do a Blog Post tonight before tomorrow the last day of 2010! I might do a post tomorrow, but I might be to busy to get one in. I am not 100% sure though. I might get one in! Now though to tonight's blog post.

As you can see it is going to be about the Harry Potter movie posters! Now Chamber of Secrets has almost nothing to do with it! I just choose a random movie from Harry Potter and put it as tonights Blog Post Pic! So let's indeed talk about the wondrous Harry Potter Film posters. Firstly I would love to state which ones I own! As Christmas was just here I did in fact get one movie poster for Christmas! I got the one from Prisoner of Azkaban, with Harry in the front and Professor Lupin lurking near the back of the picture! Another Harry Potter poster I have is the Sorcerer's Stone poster that is on the DVD and Blu-Ray cover. I have one from Goblet of Fire with Harry and the Hungarian Horntail and Mad-Eye Moody in the backgroundish! The last one I have is a Deathly Hallows Part One. This one is with the trio running through the woods. I have all of those posters in the 27 by 41 (i think?) size! They are of course all framed and the actual poster itself hasn't been touched by me! Not that it probably makes no difference. As you noticed though, I do not have no yet for: Chamber of Secrets, Order of the Phoenix, and Half-Blood Prince! I do in fact have two smaller ones for the Half-Blood Prince movie but I need yet to get it in the 27 by 41 size! Now actually one of my Harry Potter posters in very very VERY unique. How so? Well on my Sorcerer's Stone poster, the back has the same exact poster, BUT the lettering is backwards! Weird huh???? Ha! Well that one is very very special to me. Now I ask you: do you have any Harry Potter posters? If so, which movies? Also, do you have any unique ones like mine? Now what is the real purpose of talking about these posters for right?

Well I think they have some kind of meaning to them really! They get us all hyped up for the movies! Like when I just sit in my room all alone i'll look around, and in the end of course I see my self looking at one (of many) of the Harry Potter Posters I have. As I am staring at it I just think about what is all in that particular movie and it all just forms in my head, and then THEN I want to go put that movie in my DVD player or start watching it on my iPad! These Harry Potter posters just really grab the attention of me and make you wanna watch the movie! Another thing I really love about Harry Potter posters is that kind of when you look at them they really tell the story of the movie right in that one photo! I give huge credit to the creators of the posters, and I thank them for grabbing the amazement of Harry Potter in one single photo shot! They are really amazing posters!!!

So yeah this was kind of a mini blogish post! I hope you liked it! Not one of my best probably, but I am still trying to get back in the flow of blogging and all! I hope you enjoyed it anyways! OH, I also forgot to mention that actually today I found a smaller Harry Potter poster, but this one is for the Lego Harry Potter video game! Apologies and Part Two

Well firstly all I would like to say right now is that I am extremely EXTREMELY SORRY, that I haven't blogged in forever. I am here to say now (and again) that I am going to try and blog as much as I can! In the past few days I have been thinking about coming back as you could have seen on twitter. I then asked all of my followers if they missed me and I got quite a few people saying they missed my posts on Potter's Army here. That has inspired me to do more blog post and way more often! So yes I am extremely sorry about the past few months! I am back though, and I know some of you might not believe me because I have said this numerous times, but I am vowing my life here to this blog because I love the Harry Potter world and I have no idea what I would do without it! So, all in all I am back to do a lot more posts in this new year as a part of my New Years Resolution (which also includes to read more and complete the 501 Must-See Movies book [will explain that on twitter later]).

Second thing I would love to talk about in this coming back blog post is Part Two and a little bit about Part One still. So let's start with the little bit of Part One. Part One has been in Tuesdays for well over a month now, and has made $862,792,000 dollars in it's worldwide box office. Prisoner of Azkaban is the only one below it in case of Harry Potter movies, and it is the 22nd top grossing film of all time! I am planning on seeing it one more time before it is done in theaters. What about you? Do you plan on seeing it one last time or are you going to wait for the DVD and Blu-Ray? Now there is a rumor about the release date of the DVD and Blu-Ray for Part One! March 2011 is the general area, but the 18th for some reason is an expected date???? Maybe, maybe not! It hasn't been confirmed yet so don't hold tue to that date. Now for some Part Two talk. Part Two comes out July 15th, 2011, as we all know by now! Fandango has released that it is the most anticipated movie of 2011. There also has been some talk of a teaser trailer for Part One being released on January 24th, 2011! If so, I will have it on the site ASAP! So I'm guessing you all know what the theme of Potter's Army here will be in January don't you? Ha, and now another thing about Part Two is that if you look to the right in the entertainment section you see the countdown! Well Part Two is only 197 days away! You getting excited yet? Gonna re-read the series before Part Two?
